Daraz’s 11.11 Sale Website Crash Case & its Clever Response to Haters

This year, Daraz has taken the November sale season to a whole new level as it launched 11.11 shopping festival for the first time in Pakistan.

This major sale extravaganza, was initially introduced by the parent company and e-commerce giant Alibaba, 10 years ago, as its aims was to drive Pakistan into a new era of online shopping.

Extraordinary discounts and exclusive launches by top brands were offered, which allowed the leading e-commerce company to create a massive buzz over the weekend as it not just involved the general public but also the maximum number of stars and celebrities.

The Gyara Gyara Sale had kick started at midnight of November 11 and lasted for 24 hours. The sale featured discounts of up to 91%.

While shoppers thronged to use the website in large numbers, Daraz’s app and the website crashed as their server went down due to heavy traffic.

Twitter was obviously quick to troll the brand after the crashing episode

Daraz, however, came back with an extremely witty response to deal with their haters and all those who are trolling them
