Dramatic video shows a man, named as Shiva, standing by the tracks in the Lingampally area of Hyderabad, India, and smiling at his smartphone camera.
Moments later, a train smashes in to him from behind, sending him flying before the screen goes blank.

Incredibly, Shiva survived the collision despite suffering head injuries.
The train can be heard sending out a desperate warning signal as it speeds towards the thrill-seeker, who holds his right hand out as he poses for the video.
Someone can be heard warning him in the background, but Shiva appears to say ‘wait’ – apparently determined to capture the train going past.
He seems oblivious to the danger and smiles as he apparently misjudges the speed of the approaching Multi-Modal Transport System train.
While the camera stops showing images, the sound of people rushing to the scene can be heard in the back ground.
